7-Keto® Reduces Weight 200% Faster than Diet and Exercise Alone
The purpose of this study was to determine the weight loss effect of 7-Keto in healthy overweight adults compared to placebo. In this double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 30 adults were give 200mg of 7-Keto per day or a placebo pill for 8 weeks. All subjects participated in an exercise training program 3 times per week. Exercise sessions consisted of 60 minutes of cross training (aerobic and anaerobic exercise) under the supervision of an exercise physiologist. In addition, each subject was instructed to follow a diet of about 1800 Calories per day and were supervised by a registered dietician.
The participants that received 7-Keto lost 3 times more body weight over the 8 week period. This equates to a rate of loss that is 200% faster than those that received the placebo pills. Equally interesting is the finding that 80% of the weight lost by those taking 7-Keto was body fat. No adverse effects were reported throughout the study.
The results of the study suggest that 7-Keto combined with moderate exercise and a reduced calorie diet significantly reduces body weight and body fat compared with exercise and a reduced-calorie diet alone.
